Hello, my name is Charity. My husband Mike and I have been trying to have a baby for 11 years now, we are in our mid-early 40’s and we did conceive naturally when I was 41 but lost our son at 20 weeks, where I went into preterm labor, after 18 long hours of labor, we were sent home with nothing but broken hearts. We have spoken to a fertility specialist who has informed us that our only option will be IVF and we are just so sad that no one would/will help us to naturally conceive with possible medications. You see I have a history of PCOS ( polycystic ovarian syndrome) that effects many women all around the world but after my son’s loss, my periods finally became normal and my hormones became balanced after a life long struggle. I forgot to mention that even though my husband and I have tried for 11 years, my personal struggles began when I was 17 years old with my first loss at 3 months pregnant. I then began what would become the most debilitating journey of my life of trying to conceive. I never was able to get pregnant again until I was 41. I have successfully become pregnant 3 more times after my son’s loss in 2018 but they all ended before 6 weeks. I have adopted 3 children in my life, they are mostly all grown up now but my deepest hearts desire is still to carry my own child.
So I am here asking for your support in helping us finally make our dream a reality of growing our family and giving us the chance to carry our own baby before I’m entirely too old to physically do it. Please consider donating to our IVF Fundraiser, even an amount as little as 5$ would mean the absolute world to us, we are continuing to try naturally as we wait but I feel like the clocks are against us at this point and we are humbly asking for your help to move us from dream to reality.
